MavelPoint was created to solve a common challenge in the music industry: artists need a centralized space to showcase their professional identity and connect with promoters, agencies, and record labels. Until now, they have relied on multiple disconnected platforms (Spotify, YouTube, Linktree, PDF, Emails) to share their work, making it difficult for industry professionals to get a clear, up-to-date view of their profile and availability.
The main challenge was designing a platform from scratch that allowed artists to present their press kits, manage their booking availability, and connect with opportunities in a structured way. How could we ensure that key information was well-organized? How could we make it easy for promoters to find what they needed? The platform had to solve these issues while providing a seamless experience for both artists and industry professionals.
To address these challenges, MavelPoint was built around three core features:
The UX design focused on making the platform intuitive for both artists and industry professionals, ensuring that information was well-structured and accessible with minimal effort. Through interactive prototypes and internal testing, we refined navigation and information flow to create a seamless experience.
The beta launch confirmed what we suspected: artists needed a platform like this, and they embraced it immediately. Early adopters started building their profiles, adding tracks, videos, press kits, and booking details. Not only did they use the platform, but they also began pushing its limits—requesting more features, more customization, and more ways to connect with industry professionals.
Artists now want to expand their content, send their press kits directly to promoters and labels, and use MavelPoint as their go-to hub for career growth. This overwhelming engagement is shaping the next phase of the platform: prioritizing seamless content sharing, enhanced discovery tools, and more personalized features to match the fast-paced music industry.
What started as a simple way for artists to organize their professional identity has quickly evolved into a powerful ecosystem that bridges the gap between musicians and the industry. Now, the challenge is clear—keeping up with demand while maintaining a frictionless experience.
