Uniciti was designed to fill a critical gap in urban safety, where residents and businesses needed a centralized platform to stay informed about local incidents, share safety updates, and coordinate with their communities. Existing solutions were either fragmented or reactive, making it difficult for people to access reliable, real-time information.
The challenge was to design and build the platform from scratch, defining not only the UX/UI but also the product strategy and business model. This meant balancing short-term MVP priorities with long-term scalability, ensuring that the first version delivered immediate value while laying the foundation for future expansion.
The design process focused on strategic prioritization, ensuring that the MVP launched with essential features while keeping room for a more sophisticated product roadmap.
Beyond initial adoption, the design of Uniciti set the stage for continued growth and scalability. As more users joined, the platform adapted to their needs, paving the way for future enhancements like AI-driven incident verification, deeper integrations with emergency services, and expanded community features. The next challenge is to maintain ease of use while expanding functionality, ensuring that Uniciti remains a trusted tool for urban safety.
